Scan of original letter from Fritz and Lore to Eileen and Nathanial Levitt, dated 17/11/1938

Nov 17th 1938

Dear Eileen, dear Nat,

We were rather upset lately, but now we are calm again and I wish to express my heartiest thanks for all you are doing and have done already in the interest of Lore.

I heard from Auntie Betty of your intention of sending Lore to some school, which I myself think will be the best. I shall be content with your decisions on behalf of Lore now and in future.

With best regards
I am
Yours affectionately

Fritz.

Dear Auntie Eileen and dear Uncle Nat,

I am extremely happy on the outlook of coming soon to England and I want to give you my very best thanks for your kindness. I shall also be very glad to make the acquaintance of you all and am with best regards

Yours affectionately
Lore.

11. Scheffelstrasse
Frankfurt on Main,

Nov. 22nd 1938.

Dear Eileen, dear Nat,
Today I wish to inform you that I have gotten an information from the British Consulate here that Lore’s journey to England is granted. I am asked to send in Lore’s passport for a visure (sic. visa?) and hope to receive passport from the German authorities in the course of next week.

I also want to fit out Lore and as soon as this will be done, Lore will leave as soon as possible.

Once more I beg you, dear Eileen, and dear Nat, to accept my best thanks.

With many regards I remain

Yours affectionately

Fritz.
