Dear Bossy and kids,

I am writing this to tell you that I have changed my way of coming back.

I am now taking Alitalia from T.A. to Rome and Milan on Friday – and am flying from Milan to London by B.E.A. 373 leaving Milan at 22.40 and arriving just after midnight the same night – Friday night/Saturday morning at 00.20 or something like that. Check the times. In this way I am doing it in one day with stops in Rome and Milan but it is much better.

Please kiss the children for me and do tell them, and especially David, that absence makes the heart warmer. I am writing this in the central P.O. and there is a (unintelligible) so that I do not feel exactly cool and collected. Everybody is OK but on top of each other and the tension does not help. I shall be able to tell you all about everything when I get back on Friday night/Saturday morning by B.E.A. 373. Love to all and do hope things have gone well,
